Even before I can remember we shared our household with somekind of pet and ofcourse a dog: Our parents and surely mum, her nickname is "Pikel", did her very best to teach us the importance of sharing your life with that from an animal so from Boxers to multiracial doggies came in to give us their love. An unforgettable wonderful time!!!
THANK YOU PIKEL!!!

Later on, when I had moved out, we had a dog living with us; an almost completely white Parson Jack Russell Terriër, listening to the name Kathy. Already as a puppy Kathy had healthproblems and finally doctors couldn´t help her anymore so she died at the age of six.

And then
it became silent... And that, while we were just
thinking about a new doggyfriend for the three
of us. Too late for Kathy! I still miss her and
will never forget her!
Why a Schnauzer? Well, that´s a kind of
family-affair...
On the photo you see the wonderful Summer-Dazzle
From Sweet Gentility who lives with close relatives.
After getting to know this member of the Miniature
Schnauzer-clan we became so excited that we wanted
to have one also. Just as wonderful as Summer-Dazzle!
|
|
And then?
Then a miracle happened because Summers´sister
Eefje-Dazzle From Sweet Gentility, was going to
meet Polleke-Britt van D'n Oppasser.
Well, as you can imagine one thing led to another
and exactly 63 days later, on august 28 2002,
8 puppies were born: 5 males en 3 females...
|
|
Finally we could go over to the Geldropse Sijkens
family from kennel "From Sweet Gentility"
to take a look at the eight puppies from Eefjes´
first litter...
We felt really welcome in the Sluisstraat and I
immediately noticed that the people there knew what
they were talking about...
Ofcourse I instantly fell in love with all those
soft, helpless and friendly doggies but still the
choice of who to take was made very quick: There
was something about Irie...
|
|
|
During the weeks that followed we bought all kinds
of doggystuff, in the meantime just watching to
see if the clock would tick faster and days would
pass by more quickly!
|
|
|

Finally it was time to go ´n´get her:
The arrival in Geldrop was warm, welcome and spectaculair
and just one happy reunion! The Sijkens-family was
just as great as the first time and the eight babies
were grown a whole lot; they already looked like
real kindergarten-dogs!

Our little lady was just as wonderful as the first
time and after coffee, cake and more coffee we
all went home; this time taking Irie-Eefje From
Sweet Gentility with us!
I found lots of interests through Irie; I made a website for instance and I have passed my examms for expertise on dogbehaviour, training dogs and teaching dogowners how to train their beloved pets. (Studies which I update frequantly. )
Irie means the world to me: She has given me so much and I only hope that I will be able to give equal love in return!!!
