Irie's 2nd puppy-experience:
A Brandnew Happy Couple!!!

Only one date, only one moment of passion...
And puppies have been born on July 16,2007!!!
Prior to this blind date both dogs have had a
last healthcheck; both passed with flying colours.
Also Cenzo's Thyroidtestresults were excellent
so nothing was standing in their way anymore!!!

Yes, yes, yes: After an ultrasoundtest we can say "Irie is really pregnant"!
Although it had been just 24 days since the mating the test showed tiny little puppies already!
Define "tiny": Only 8,7 by 4,1 milimeter.
Well, that is tiny, isn't it?

On the Fourth of July we celebrated the pregnancy again by having another look with ultrasound. The puppies we saw were very healthy and moving around.
Magnificent to watch those little creatures inside their mother...

Because we have reached the last period of Irie's pregnancy I started to check her temperature and the total amount of extra weight.
Here the results:

Time: 19.15 hrs.
This little lady was born.
Weight: 214 gr..

This little boy was born.
Weight: 226 gr..

All puppies were in great shape when they got born. Irie is a wonderful mamma again. She takes very good care of her little treasures!

The little treasures themselves do everything a good treasure should do to become a big treasure: Eat, sleep and grow!!!

After 5 days the puppies have gained some weight already...

One of the girls opened her eyes at 9 days of age. Her sister came right behind her...

... And the boys just after them. All eyes had opened up at 11 days of age.
At 2 weeks their weight varies from 636 to 680 gr. and today the puppies got their fist anti-wurmcure. As you can imagine they weren't very fond of that stuff.

So none of the puppies can't get jammed in their treasurebox anymore.

Every now and then you need to check if anyone wants to play. They do that more and more...

But up to now "happy hour" at Irie's Puppy Bar is still their favourite occupation...

Right now they are 7 weeks, have a weight from about 2+ kilo's and enjoy life to the max!
