The diameter of the 4 weeks old puppy in the first picture was at that time 1,46 cm and the one on the next photo - made from a 7 weeks old puppy - was 4 cm.
At birth each of these puppies had a weight from 250 gr.

Pikelien presents Yoko Irie; the first born puppy. The little lady will stay with us. She's a very active girl who doesn't mind working hard for her food. Also she's exploring her vocal opportunities.
In exactly 6 weeks time her weight has gained to 1538 gram...
Here he is, Pikelien presents Sjoerd Irie; the very first son of Irie and Nelson. Right now he seems to be a real irie-person, a "don't worry, be happy"-type and he knows what he wants. In exactly 5 weeks his weight became 1940 gram. A week later he was to heavy for the scale so we can only say for sure that he is over the 2 kiloos...
And last but certainly not least another lovely boy; Pikelien presents Joy Irie . Like his sister he doesn't mind a bit of hard work and his weight after exactly 5 weeks is 1852 gram. he too was to big for the scale which means that he is over the 2 kiloos as well...
Do you like to put your feet up while drinking in the bar? These three do.
Tonight they are having a party because it'll be probably one of the last nights without seeing and hearing anything...

Guess what? Today, october 20 2005, at 17.40 hrs Yoko opened her eyes! We are very proud of the little miss and also curious as to when her two brothers will follow the lady-leader. They did the next day!!!

On october 22 the puppies and their mum ofcourse got their anti-wormstuff to prevent them from getting ill. The first born male took it without any hesiation but the other two had other ideas.
After that it was eat- and sleeptime again.... Above: Art Didi's design
On october 23 the puppies met some meat for the first time: The firstborn male was very excited about it, his sister (photo in the middle) liked it also instantly; their brother at first had to get used to the idea... Above: Photo's and copyrights I. den Boer...
On october 28 Miranda came over to get to know these puppies and clip their toenails. As always this woman was kind and gentle so this was another nice experience for these tiny kids...
Well, we know Yoko is going to be Yoko, but which guy will become
Pikelien presents Joy Irie? The lastborn male (right photo)!!! Congretulations!!! He is a lucky guy because in time Joy will move to a very loving family!!!
We have named the firstborn male (left photo) Sjoerd; this means something like "Victory by the guardian/shepherd/caretaker" and that is exactly Sjoerd. He too got himself a very nice family and we wish him nothing but all the best a dog can get!!! (Collars from Henriëtte.)

Untill now we've had many friends over ( and received lots of presents ) and everytime we had a great visit. One of the highlights was the meet 'n' greet with daddy Nelson! This gentleman was wonderful with the babies and we all had a wonderful time!!!

The puppies have met with various experiences like for instance cars, cyclists and joggers, young and old people, cats, the vet and the needle.
F.l.t.r.: Sjoerd, Yoko and Joy, all in the hands of Mike, Sjoerd and cat Ibo.
Today human Sjoerd celebrated his last day at the clinic and we like to thank him for all he has done for us so far and wish him all the best for the future and hope to see as much of him as we have done 'till now!
